My passion for politics began many years ago, and serving in the United States Navy only made this aspiration grow stronger. 

The more knowledgeable I became of the issues, the more I realized that I could make a difference.  I have endured some of the same economic struggles that many people in our community are currently experiencing. As a middle class citizen, I understand the needs of the average American and it is my belief that all you need is the desire to help, the determination to achieve great things and the eagerness to strive for a better tomorrow.  

I am running to give the people of our District a new direction by implementing changes to resolve problems with education, the economy, tax reform, energy dependence, healthcare, and a host of other issues. We need  limited government that believes in fiscal responsibility and conservative values, not a bureaucracy. I believe with conviction that Northern Minnesota can be a leader in issues of state as well as a beacon of hope to all of America.  I look forward to meeting and serving the people of District 2B.
